Exploring heat Retention in Materials.

November 20, 2012

I decided to look into natural heat sink materials that could release retained heat over a period of time. I did this both with online research and also with my own experiment of heating; redbrick, concrete and clay. All the materials seemed to be relatively good at retaining heat but the concrete was best. The temperature was measure every ten minutes (3time) with a strip thermometer after being put in a 100 degree oven for 5 minutes.
